Welcome To Midwest CMA

Welcome to the Midwest Branch of the Christian Motorcyclist’s Association of Australia [WA]. If this is your first time here you may be wondering what we are all about. We are a group of Christians from all different walks of life, some of us have just become Christians and some of us have been Christians for many years, and some are even deciding whether to become a Christian. So we share two things in common – our Love for the Lord Jesus Christ and our love for Motor Cycles and the open road.

We are part of C.M.A Australia with clubs in every State. The Mid West starts about 300km north of Perth, Western Australia. We have some of the best roads on the planet with hardly any traffic and fantastic scenery.  The roads are made for Cruisers, Tourers, with also places for the Sports bikes with bends and hills, so we are blessed. Our Club here in the Mid West also rides with a purpose to give people hope in Jesus where ever we go.

As a motor cyclist you would know the freedom of riding the high ways, but the freedom Jesus gives us surpasses even the high way. (Isaiah 35:8-9). We welcome all ages of riders so if you are interested don’t hesitate too email or phone. Have a look at the Photo Gallery and the other links on the side of this page. Thanks again for your time – God Bless.

Fundraising for Burma Orphanage

Midwest CMA was part of this great opportunity to fundraise and provide a motorcycle to Pastor Si Than from the Mustard Seed Orphanage in Burma

This is a report from Norm Targett who visited Burma for the presentation.

December 16th saw 2 of us leaving 1st for Singapore and then onto Yangon. Our mission was to connect with the children from The Mustard Seed Orphanage in Mingaladon and also in Shan State. I had been charged with the responsibility of delivering $US1200 to the pastors at the orphanage to purchase a motor bike for Pastor Si Than who needed to be able to get to the out-lying districts of the village and for him to be able to evangelise the people of the area He also needed the bike to be able to take the children from the orphanage to hospital/doctors as necessary.

Three of us flew into The Ho airport in the mountains and then drove down to the village where Si Than and Ngai Par are parents to 6 orphans. When we eventually arrived at the orphanage, after travelling down through the mountains in a taxi on less than well surfaced roads, we were greeted with sounds of laughter and singing. We met the children and were able to share with them both in song and dance and were also able to present on behalf of CMA WA a new 125cc Honda motor bike to the Pastor and his wife for use around the village.

The bike is a little larger than most around the area, average 90cc, and should be able to carry Si Than and Ngai Par wherever needed. Pastor Si than Paul expressed his gratitude to CMA and God for this opportunity to be able to go out and share God’s precious word with the people of his country. Next year I would like to be able to take another $US1200 to Pastor Solomon in Mingaladon and allow him to be able to spread God’s word in the village.
